MBA applications always go up during a bad economy. That is because business school generally attracts people who are lost, and more people who feel more lost when the bad job market is lousy.

But let’s be clear: This is not the type of recession where there are no jobs for young people. This is a recession where there are no GOOD jobs. McDonald’s is hiring in management. There is a bank teller shortage and a shortage of actuaries. There is a shortage of insurance agents. It’s just that people don’t grow up dreaming of these jobs. So they don’t take them. Instead, people who are early in their career – in that time when an MBA sounds like it might work – those people are determined to have only a good job. And if they can’t have that, they get an MBA.

When a female entrepreneur is ready to hire help, delegating to an assistant may seem more cost-effective and less complicated than hiring an entire team. While working with a team yields great results for most entrepreneurs who choose to do so, an assistant can provide an extra set of hands immediately and a link to a team in the future. An assistant can handle some of the daily tasks the entrepreneur doesn’t have time for, such as listening to voicemail messages, checking e-mail or running errands. Also, an assistant can help an entrepreneur stay on schedule and can act as a sounding board. In the future, an assistant can act as a liaison between an entrepreneur and her team.

v    Introduction:

It is general belief in our society that role of women is restricted in four walls of home or you can say women are involved in mainly household activities like cooking and reading. Economy of any country can’t boom without contributing women. The growing industrialization, urbanization and social legislation and with the spread of education and awareness women have shifted from kitchen to higher level of professional activities. Today’s women are taking more and more professional and technical degrees to cope up with market need.

Question on Economy and Perfect Competition?

As I mentioned earlier, competitive firms will make zero economic profits. This means that the firm will make enough profits to keep the business running, and its owners will have no better alternative than to stay in business. This is just like John Travolta and his airline business. He should not stay in the airline business because his opportunity cost is too high….he can make more money doing something else (movies). This same thing happens to our entrepreneur. The entrepreneur will invests his money and time/skills in a business until he/she can make more money someplace else.

Why do perfectly competitive firms make zero economic profits? Why don´t these firms make extraordinary profits?Anyone?

Safety needs change over time. Why? Those who employ the offerings develop skill and experience. In addition, the ways the offerings are used change. You need to take all of these dimensions into account when designing safe solutions.

It’s good to help people to be well prepared before their first experience, but complacency and developing bad habits can turn even the most careful people into risky operators of offerings. For instance, industrial accidents occur among those who aren’t adequately trained and those who are so experienced that they decide to ignore safe methods.

Saving for a car?

So, I’m a young guy and will be getting my drivers license shortly. At this point, my parents say that they aren’t going to give me a car to drive (I’d be able to borrow either of their cars on occasion, but not have one for myself.) Sooo, I’ve been throwing all the cash that I can find into my savings account, and trying to earn enough to buy myself a decent ride at some point.

Now the question is, what are some good ways to earn enough money to get a car?

You can also model the success of others by identifying other successful entrepreneurs and examining their qualities and skills. It is possible to speed up the “trial and error” learning curve by drawing on and learning from the success and setbacks experienced by others.
