I live in the south and I’m a recreational deep sea fisherman… When I was on a trip up north back in December BP was running ads saying that they fixed everything in the Gulf and everything is back to normal down here. Well it wasn’t and they were lying through their teeth. They just re opened deep water fishing to recreational fisherman a couple weeks ago. That being said no one i know down here trusts eating any fish caught more than a couple miles off shore.

So ya a year later and all is good? We need less regulations? We need more drilling? These people make me sick! If it’s all good why is BP buying up every Citco in the north and closing down 90% of BPs in the south? If they were doing such a great job of taking care of us and the Gulf down here then why do they feel the need to leave the south? Because down here we see what’s been going on first hand. The people that are making the decisions to drill don’t live down here.

I get ~$550 Australian dollars, so $600 US (How is YOUR economy doing hahaha) every two weeks deposited electronically into my bank account. I get this for going to university, which the Australian government pays for, for now. It is an interest free loan I must repay when I make $55,000 a year or something.
10 years ago the Australian exchange rate what $0.48c to the US$1, it is now $1.10 to the US$1, because of welfare policies such as above. And the mining boom. Lol.
