The main thing that it takes to learn how to become a successful entrepreneur that people in regular jobs don’t have is the ability to fail and pick themselves back up. In order to do this they have to know that they are meant to succeed. Looking at failure as just another stepping stone to get to where they are supposed to be.

My name is Lydia Parrott. I have been an entrepreneur for several years. It took me a long time to stop listening to the old tapes in my head that said, are you are a failure, you will never make it, you may as well give up, you will never amount to anything. I finally realized that if I was even going to become successful at how to become an entrepreneur, I would have to replace those bad thought with good thoughts.

This is taught by many, but I believe the good thoughts are more believable if they come from the bible such as: wealth and riches are in my house! Ps 112:3 or The blessing of the Lord is on me and brings wealth with no sorrow! Ps 10:22. It’s hard to believe it but God wants us to be prosperous. Somehow old religious groups twisted this and said we were all supposed to be poor. How in the world can we help others if we can barely make it ourselves.

What a man thinks so is he. Proverbs 23:7. What are your thoughts about your life, your job, your family. Are you focused on the negative – I’m stuck here for life thoughts? Are you focusing on good thoughts? Are you able to help others, or are you too worried about your own sinking raft? The first steps in wanting to learn how to become an entrepreneur is to change your thoughts so you can go from a sinking raft to a beautiful ship, perhaps in the Caribbean.
