If guns don’t hurt people but people hurt people, why do republicans think that socialism hurts people?
If you say that people hurt people you would be correct. I could hurt somebody with a knife then too right? I can hurt someone with crapitalism right?
So what is the problem? We try not to put guns in the hands of dangerous individuals, and we would like to do the same with knives. But we don’t limit these things to all people.
Why republicans want to put the dangerous weapon of crapitalism in the hands of only a few individuals we know to be dangerous perplexes me. Businesses that start and grow their business here (the only place they can) and then move overseas to exploit cheap labor. Confusing and abstracting ‘financial instruments’ beyond comprehension, then piecing them out and losing track of them. Deifying the Born-into-wealth Almighty Entrepreneur™ at all costs and having blind faith in unfettered laissiez faire ‘markets’. Concentrating wealth and resources of planet earth (and thus, political power). These are all EXTREMELY DANGEROUS uses of crapitalism. Yet republicans not only can’t see this, but actually think they are *good* uses of it.
Socialism is not much different but it may be easier to see it’s evil uses. In the hands of a corrupt dicktater, very dangerous. But what about representative, democratic socialism? There is no concentration of power here. If socialism *requires* a dicktater, then why has most of Europe failed to produce this dicktater in the last half-century under their democratic socialism?
You people need to get your political philosophies straight and stop behaving like a ‘spooked herd’.
BTW, I am not sure I can see the benefits of ‘spooked herds’, can you? Your psychological projections are part of your ‘spooked herd’ syndrome BTW. As a true free thinker and libertarian, I feel no such mysticism as 2012 end-times, America is losing its prowess because of evil ideas, or anti-christism/christism et al. I invite you all to throw off you intellectual chains and rebel against your slavery to 20th century ‘good vs. evil ideologies’.
People with guns run crapitalism numbnutzes. what is your point?
See how easy it is to ‘spook’ you herd-animal tards?
Pfo, my use of the word crapitalism implies corporatism. Here we arrive at another interesting point. Which is more likely to happen? that capitalism will fall into corporatism (aka crapitalism), or that socialism will fall into ‘dicktatership’ ?

Who runs socialism? People with guns.
At the end of the day, there is a gun pointed at your sweet grandmothers head saying she will pay to pave I-95, or go to jail. If she wont go to jail, she will be shot.
People with guns and a monopoly on moral legitimacy kill people.
Corporatism is a shining example of communism, not capitalism. It’s the latest tactic of the state, everything else has been tried already.
Capitalism has only ever existed in a few places throughout history:

Capitalism carried to its ultimate conclusion means one mega-corporation controlling all aspects of the economy. How is that different from a communist government?
If you want complete socialism (communism), you could move to the Soviet Union….oh wait they are no longer socialists since they proved it doesn’t work.
or drugs for that matter…
Ask Iran.
You know, you really should get a good nights rest before attempting to think.
Try it sometime.
It is against us religious believers- and most importantly GOD!
If it’s only concentrated in the hands of a few individuals, it is not capitalism. That’s corporatism / fascism or something along those lines. Capitalism is underscored by competition. All these companies that you see lobbying the government for favors; that’s not capitalism. A capitalist country would have the government playing referee to corporations, not playing favorites with them.
Some of these examples you mention: they aren’t capitalism. They are the kind of econommic control that socialism / communism bring. It’s good that you see these as bad, but bad that you don’t see them for what they are.
Capitalism, socialism, and communism for that matter are all perfect. Each having it’s own way of structuring the government and peoples lives. What is not perfect is when you add people into the mix. It’s people that soil the forms over government, not the form of government that soils the people.
Greed, ambition, and the hunger for power make people mess up what ever we set up for ourselves. Each form of government mentioned above works fine on paper, but add humanity, and no form works well.
Worst analogy ever. Guns are inanimate objects. Socialism is a human system.
socialism gives too much power to the gov. the gov is made up of people. absolute power corrupts absolutely. this is elementary school stuff.
