Entrepreneurs Need Coaches Too

By: Michael Carter Jr

Does your phone ring nonstop all day long? Do you have so much business that you have started to turn some people away? Have you run out of fresh business ideas? If you have answered yes to any of these questions you need to hire a coach.

With business springing up everyday it is important that you understand your strengths and weaknesses. Every successful business owner has a business plan and a marketing plan that they are trying to follow. Even the average business owner has an attorney review their corporation papers.

Entrepreneurs all across the world are having business cards printed and signs made. Savvy entrepreneurs are having their personal logos created and web sites designed. The funny thing is that none of these things will cause you to make money or have a successful business.

I have a friend who started a business with out a customer friendly name, a business plan, a website, or business cards. However at the end of her fiscal year she had a 65% higher profit than she had forecasted for her first year. I know you wonder how she did this. She knew that she did not have a clue about how to run a successful business so she found a partner who did. She hired a business coach. A person who could guide her through every step and decision that needed to be made.

Coaches Are Partners

More people should be like my friend and get a partner to help secure more business. Coaches are not just for athletes they are for everyone with a desire to create more business than they currently have. They hold you accountable for reaching your goals and developing profitable strategies. There is nothing embarrassing about having a coach. In fact it should be more embarrassing having a business that is not profitable.

There are many places where you can search for a coach that has experience in your area of expertise. One of the websites I found to be resourceful is Coachville USA. Not only will you be able to find several coaches to interview, you will also find information about what to expect from a coach. Talk to several different coaches with different backgrounds until you find one that will help your business explode. It is important that you do not select a coach based on price alone. The cost for a coach will vary depending upon the area of expertise and the type of coaching you desire. Make sure you select the best coach for your business or this may become more of a curse than a blessing.

Everyone Can Use One

Please do not think that only service professionals have coaches. Anyone who wants more business than they currently have should consider having a coach. In fact this should be the first step you take after deciding what type of business you will be starting. Everyone could use the help of a professional who will not only help with the nuts and bolts of business but someone who will also encourage and celebrate them for their success. Consider a coach as your personal cheerleader.
