It’s never too late to follow your dreams and at 40 you can throw your life experience into it!
Not by a mile!
No go for it I am, and keep going until you get there good luck
No way.
no…start something and hopefully yer kids (if you have any) will either help you out or take over someday. Good Luck!!!!!
It’s never too late!
No, it’s not. It’s never to late to pursue your dreams.
I’ve seen people start out at age 60. You have plenty of time! Fulfill your dreams.
Never to late. Keep reaching for the stars
never too late !!!
No, actually I’m an entrepreneur at 44. In one of my small business classes we were told that 40 is a good time, and that if you are unemployed at 50 it’s essential to start your own business. There is still much ageism going on in this country when it comes to hiring.
Go for it! And best wishes!
go for it..its never too late.
hell no as long as you dont try to become a rapper or somethin go 4 it
Colonel Sanders did it in his 60′s.
It’s never too late. Ever heard of something called ‘the economy’ always on the verge of tottering into oblivion.
Never too late. In fact I believe life lessons learned are very helpful in starting, and running a business.
Based on some research, it seem that older folks are actually more innovative in many cases. See the web site below for some interesting thoughts on the topic.
I am 58, I sold one company a few months ago and have started two more.
If you have a good idea for a business, see it through. Many good business were started by those older 40. And you have experience behind you to enhance your business.
It is never too late. I know an older lady who cooks food and drives it around in a truck. I met a retired gentleman on the beach who constructs unique wooden snow flakes and suppliments his income with it.
IF you have a good idea, test the market and go for it. It only takes a $70 filing fee for articles of incorpration, a registration with the county tax collector for the local liscense, one call to the IRS to get an EIN number, and a ride to the bank with your first payment from a client.
Do not pay someone to incorparate you for thousands. Do it yourself. The application process is less complicated then getting a drivers liscense.
Do it!
At 40 you finally have the life experience. Don’t be a chicken s**t. You’ll never forgive youself if you don’t go for it now.
I am only 20, but I dont think I would even want to start my own business until I am 40. by then I will be married, have a house, and finished having kids. if I am anything like my mom when I am 40, my kids will be almost done with high school and then you need something else to do to keep you busy. my mom seems very young even though she is in her 40s. I would never think that she is too old to start a business. both my dad and step dad have their own little (seperate) side businesses and they love it.
yes!
