Should I become a Doctor, accountant or engineer?
Hey guys and girls on Yahoo answers!
I have some trouble picking the career choice I would like to be in. I am in 7th grade and would like to figure out what courses to take in high school so I can be prepared to go to a university of my choice that will further on bring me to the job I would love to be in. But I am in trouble finding a job that I would like to be in! I love science, mathematics, Informational technology, movie making and business. As a young student I love all these and wished that it could all be in one job, but that would be impossible! unless I make a movie about a business man who makes computers and saves a life all at once.
So the question is,
should I be a doctor (I absolutely love the concept of saving people)
an accountant (I want to be financially abundant)
or an engineer (Since I like computers and creating movies perhaps?)
Help would be very grateful!
Things to point out I am a high achiever and always work hard. I have around 5 A’s one is an A- which kinda is bad. Hope people can help! Can you also point out about how much I can earn in a year for each of the three choices? Is it possible to earn more money in any of the three?
I have found out that an engineer earns the most at the beginning than any other career out of these 3. I want to start a business after becoming either one of the 3 jobs. And the knowledge from it will help me make my business a reality *tears of joy. So which takes the shortest amount of years before actually earning quite a lot. I do not care about the work times or anything because I love all three of these jobs very much. I have a lot of friends with million dollar homes, my friends father is a petroleum engineer, he lives in a huge 3 story house, a specialized doctor I know (neurologist) owns a jaguar. (not the animal! The car!) and finally my friend’s dad is an entrepreneur of a huge food industry company.
My life plan’s goal is to get knowledge from one of these 3 jobs and start a business. And engineering would be the fastest out of university to earn money and also gain enough knowledge and start building a business out of technology. Doctor on the other hand is what I love to become! Although the fact that it would take me a longer time period to start a business. Which would be around 35 years old because I need post graduate degree to do advanced training in a specialty.
Thank you very much for reading this hopefully some professionals will come and aid me in my time of great frustration! I know I am thinking a lot for a 7th grader but I just love the fact of becoming a successful young person I will be in the future. I want to show others that I have what it takes to become successful and financially abundant.
I love making movies
its just a hobby that I do here is a video you guys can watch its a promo for the Ferrari 458 Italia! Its not the best I can do but you got to understand that car is gorgeous!

Pff, Doctor, engineer or Accountant?
You could aim higher.
tisk tisk tisk
I assume you are very good at maths?
Well personally I would go for engineer.
You might fight that being an accountant will become boring after a while – the work is quite repetitive.
It would be great to be a doctor, but this takes a lot of hard work (more than 4 extra years at university) and a lot of time. Med-school in university will be expensive. It will be more difficult to have a family and enjoy life outside of work.
Engineering is fun and interesting. There is so much open to you – computing, science research, NASA etc. You can work with movies (special effects) which would be fun. However, there is enormous competition in engineering – if you want to go far you must be the best of the best.
Hope this helps!
An engineer is the hardest one and you will make the most money right after you graduate. It also has different field of engineering, like mechanical, civil, electrical and more. Being a doctor, you can be a practitioner or a Medical Doctor (MD). Being an MD, you can own your business. An accountant is the quickest one if you go online. It is the only one that is accepted at online colleges and you can graduate in 16 months. To own your own business you have get your bachelor’s degree and then obtain your CPA license. If you obtain your bachelors degree in accounting, you can become a Controller, Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chief Financial Officer (CFO). That is the finance route; you can go to the management route and be an Account Manager, Account Administrator, Senior Financial Analyst, Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Accounting has more choices for a career. I know more about accounting because I am currently obtaining my associates in accounting. You are still young, so you have years to figure out and research which one will make you happy. Choose a career that you can do for the rest of your life.
Stupid kid, there`s a whole world of professions out there, why limit yourself?
