There are very many distance education programs in the market, run by Universities and Private Companies alike. I would like to know if there is any thumb rule in the business of Distance education which would help a prospective entrepreneur understand the viability of this kind of a business model. In particular, I would like to know if there is an Industry average for ‘earning::advertising expenditure’.

Is there really an education needed to be an entrepreneur? This is a question often asked by aspiring entrepreneurs.

Well, it all depends on the individual. There are times even when those that have no educational business background are still able to make it big in the business world. Some say that they owe it all to patience, hard work, and dedication. Most of the successful entrepreneurs on the other hand claim that it would take good education to become an entrepreneur.

So what will it be? Well, if you can afford to study a business degree, then don’t let that chance pass you by. You’re quite lucky if you can attend college especially for a business degree. You have to dedicate your time studying all your lessons because in due time, you will be able to use such information to the advantage of your business.

Can successful entrepreneurs be created through formal education, or is it necessary for them to have the right family background and personality?

OK, about myself, I’m 18 and starting my Sophomore year in Community College. I always wanted to work for myself, I started a few websites at 14 years old and raked in $15k+ since then (and still reaping the fruits of my labor, but am not interested in web based businesses). I’ve never had a boss and I love it. Anyway,

I want to get a degree that will get me a good position in a field that is related to Business, the economy, finance (whatever would be required for an Entrepreneur to know).

China launches renewed “Patriotic Education” Campaign across all sections in Tibet

The Chinese authorities in the “Tibet Autonomous Region” (‘TAR’) and other Tibetan areas in neighboring provinces have launched a two-months renewed “Patriotic Education” campaign covering almost every sections of society beginning primarily with the monastic institutions, party cadres, security forces and government employees, farmers and private entrepreneurs, educational institutions and common people, to denounce the Dalai Lama and the “splittist forces” in the coming two months.
