Can you imagine that at this very moment there are more than 200,000 individuals who are on the internet desperately seeking entrepreneurial ideas, especially ones that are tailored for women? Whether it’s Heather the stay home mum or Helen the Manager, the pursuit to supplement incomes are the common denominator.

And if the economic situation remains as it is (with close to 7 million people jobless and 50 million others worldwide) if you’re not looking for SOMETHING’… either you’ve been experiencing an outer body experience, (some grass isn’t good to smoke!) or you should try pulling your head from the clouds every once in a while.Business Ideas For Women:

Can you think of the last time this country has experienced such an economic slump; could it be the great depression period? Question: ‘ What if ‘ massive entrepreneurship could be the answer to our economic problems?

Since thousands of people are hardly able to maintain their assets and are literally living on the edge and our current financial situation are leaving business owners no other options but to cut hours, downsize, or shut down completely, what other choice do we have?Entrepreneur Ideas:

Needless to say, many people see this recession only as a setback, while disregarding the fact that it could be a blessing in disguise. Think about it, a few of our most successful long standing businesses were born out of the last recession. And for those who understand the dynamics of the recession, this may be the perfect time to test your entrepreneurial ideas.

Now lets take a lesson from what happened within the last 20 years that destroyed many businesses, and use history to grow solid, profitable businesses.Small Business Ideas…

It seems clear that some businesses has lost control. We all know people that work for corporations or have witnessed first hand the slackers on their jobs… their main objective is to come up with new and improved ways to try to creatively manipulate “father time-clock”. Their other objective is to see how innovative they can become to NOT work eight hours a day.

Then you have those human walkie talkie’s… yep…. they don’t do squat all-day but talk … Can you believe the average employee actually works LESS than 4 hours a day!

Why is it that often times the most Egotistical, Narcissistic co-worker ends-up with the magical managerial position only to kill the entrepreneurial ideas, originality and inspiration from the hard working super-stars. Wouldn’t it seem like any forward thinking business owner could see that “Henry” is messing up big time? Some companies just don’t get it…encouraging innovative good business ideas will be critical in the new economy.

According to Robert Kiyosaki, knowledge is the new money. Because of fierce competition, businesses will be force to cut loose the dead weight even if it’s one of the ‘good old boys’.

Do you watch the news?…. Will you allow the nightly news and local newspaper to scare you? … what will it take to get you to climb aboard and put your entrepreneur ideas in action?

Keep in mind that everyday over a hundred thousand people (a large percentage are women) are stepping across the line into business ownership, especially since, many big businesses are sinking faster than a rock.

What would it feel like not worrying about the economy or who’s going to watch the kids while you’re off to your second or third job. Or even worse, thinking about things like, will you be employed next week, month or year?

Why not join the thousands of other women entrepreneurs or at least get some details about how you can break free from the fear of pink slips, lay-offs or company’s closings. Imagine not having to drop-off your kids or miss another school event.

What causes an individual to take all the social, psychological, and financial risks involved in starting a new venture? at first there was limited research on this aspect of entrepreneurship, but since 1995 there has been an increased interest in entrepreneurial careers and education. This increased interest has been fostered by such factors as the recognition that small forms play a major role in job creation and innovation; an increase in media coverage of entrepreneurs; the awareness that there are more entrepreneurs than those heralded in the media, as thousands upon thousands of small cottage companies are formed; the view that most large organizational structures do not provide an environment for self-actualization; the shift in employment, as women become increasingly more active in the workforce and the number of families earning two incomes growls and the formation of new ventures by female entrepreneurs at three times the rate of their male counterparts.

In spite of this increase, many people, still, do not consider entrepreneurship as a career. A conceptual model for understanding entrepreneurial careers, views the career stages as dynamic ones, with each stage reflecting and interacting with other stages and events in the individual’s life – past, present, and future. This life cycle approach conceptualizes entrepreneurial careers in nine major categories; educational environment, the individual’s personality, childhood family environment, employment history, adult development history, adult non work history, current work situation, the individual’s current perspective, and the current family situation. Although there exists a common perception that entrepreneurs are less educated than the general population, this opinion has proved to be more myth than reality. Studies have found entrepreneurs overall, and female entrepreneurs in particular, to be far more educated than the general populace. However, the types and quality of the education received sometimes do not develop the specific skills needed in the venture creation and management process. For example, some female entrepreneurs are at more of a disadvantage than their male counterparts in this respect, as they frequently do not take significant business or engineering courses. Childhood influences have also been explored, particularly in terms of values and the individual’s personality.

The most frequently researched personality traits are the need for achievement, focus of control, risk taking, and gender identity. The research on the childhood family environment of the entrepreneur has had more definitive results. Entrepreneurs tend to have self-employed fathers, many of whom are also entrepreneurs. Many also have entrepreneurial mothers. The family, particularly the father or mother, plays an important role in establishing the desirability and credibility of entrepreneurship as a career path. As one entrepreneur said: “My Father and mother always encouraged me to try new things and do everything very professionally.

They wanted me to be the vary best and have the freedom and independence of being my own boss.” Employment history also has an impact on entrepreneurial careers, in both a positive and a negative sense. On the positive side, entrepreneurs tend to have a higher probability of success when the venture created is in their field of work experience. This increased success rate makes the providers of risk capital particularly concerned when this work experience is not present. Negative displacement (such as dissatisfaction with various aspects of one’s job. being fired or demoted, being transferred to an undesirable location, or having one’s spouse take a new position in a new geographic area) encourages entrepreneurship and new venture formation. Although no definitive research has been done on the adult development history of entrepreneurs, it appears to also affect entrepreneurial careers. Development history has somewhat more of an impact on women, since they tend to start businesses at a later stage in life than men, usually after having experienced significantly more job frustration.

There is a similar lack of data on adult family/ non work history. Although there is some information on entrepreneurs’ marital and family situations, the available data add little to our understanding of entrepreneurial career paths.

You may bound out of bed each morning ecstatic at the prospect of working another day in your business. But there may also be times when your entrepreneurial zeal begins to wane and you just coast along, going through the motions. The long hours, erratic cash flow and wearing all those hats can wear you down.

Below are ten easy tips to renew your business passion and keep you energized:

1. Contemplate why you started the business. Revisit your core values—the ‘non-negotiables’ most important to you, and then do what you can to realign your activities with those values.

2. Keep your vision and your goals clearly before you. Visualize where you want to take the business. Use all your senses. Ask yourself, what will it look like when I get there? How will I feel? What will I be doing each day?

3. Invest in your education. Keep learning: attend seminars, study business books and read biographies of other successful entrepreneurs, such as Pour Your Heart into It: How Starbucks Built a Company One Cup at a Time by Howard Schultz and Dori Jones Yang.

4. Make a list of all the things you enjoy and are good at. Is there a way you can spend more time on these?

5. Brainstorm something new you can create for the business.

6. Spend time with positive people. Allow no negative self-talk, and no whining, ever! Consider reading Little Gold Book of YES! Attitude by Jeffrey Gitomer.

7. Take good care of the boss—you!

8. Hire a coach or mentor.

9. Don’t fly solo! Surround yourself with like-minded people. Join a Small Business Advisory Board.

10. Commit to the long haul and get busy doing what you know you need to do next in the business.

Use these tips to stir up your passion for business. You’ll begin to see problems as possibilities and difficulties as opportunities to learn and grow. Most importantly, you’ll enjoy the daily challenges of growing your business.

Entrepreneurial Ideas: The small business advice that wives give their husbands

Did you know that today and everyday over 200,000 people are online right now as we speak looking for entrepreneurial resources or a way to start a new business from home?

Everybody is seeking entrepreneurial ideas from Holly the housewife to Frank the CEO no one’s exempt.

And with the cancer that’s sickening our economy leaving 2.6 million people without jobs anticipating 50 million more world wide, even Joe the plumber could end up in the soup line if he don’t join the entrepreneur club.

When was the last time our country has seen a time like this …the great depression?

Many people are hanging on by a thread to their cars, houses, and what’s left of their skimpy 401 k‘s.

Business owners don’t know what to do so they just close their doors forcing thousands more out of jobs almost weekly.

If million dollar businesses are closing what makes me think a small business start-up is possible in a time of crisis… Is this the question you’re asking yourself?

Entrepreneurial Ideas: That Special Something that Inspires Every Successful Professional to start a new Business venture

Step away from the problem for a minute. Everyone is thinking the Recession is the problem.

Let’s examine some entrepreneurial ideas that require some innovation and creative thinking skills. Could the Recession be the solution to our economic problems?

Could this potentially be the perfect time for a low-cost start up business?

How long could the average family afford costly houses some doubling after 60 days of ownership, $5.00 gas prices, the average car price $35,000, and inflation rising into the hemisphere?

The Recession saves the day for those that understand (and many do)… the trends and cycles of economics which will set new records with ground-breaking entrepreneurial ideas.

Learn of 3 Discoveries to out produce big businesses in a low-cost start up business

These same 3 discoveries are what assist entrepreneurial success and the reason small businesses thrive:

1. big businesses lost control: we all know people that work for large corporations or have witnessed first hand the slackers on their jobs… their main objective is to try to creatively manipulate “father time-clock”.

Their sole purpose is to creatively put their entrepreneurial ideas to use and see how much work they can not do in an eight hour day… Then you have those human walkie talkie’s… yep…. they don’t do squat all-day but talk …I’m pretty sure those lost hours weren’t calculated into the business start-up cost.

Can you believe the average employee actually works less than 4 hours a day?

2. Big business many times isn’t fair: Why does it seem that the person with the best entrepreneurial ideas and leadership skills are the one NOT choose as team leaders.

Many time the most egotistical, narcissistic co-worker ends-up with the magical position as the manager which kills entrepreneurial spirit, originality and inspiration.

Wouldn’t it seem like any successful entrepreneur could see that “John” is screwing up big time so why is he still the manager?

“Why not chose another manager”? Some big Businesses just don’t get it…encouraging entrepreneurial ideas will be critical in the new economy because competition will force businesses to cut loose the dead weight even if it’s their best buddy.

3. Big Business comes with big-risk: and the biggest risk is balancing between doing what’s best for the company or what’s best for the stockholders.

What most people don’t realize is that companies don’t always do what’s in the best interest of their employees (shocking I know) but rather what’s in the interest of the stock holders.

And some of the greedy money sucking, stock holders and CEO’s have one goal and one goal only… WIIFM >(what’s in it for me) to make as much money as humanly or inhumanly possible, many times at the expense of thousands of others.

With the aid of CNN news and the internet we don’t have to elaborate on that issue much … E.g. $35,000.00 Toilets, private or corporate jets, cooking the books, (accounting errors?)Etc…

An old song is playing in my head… “God bless a child that has his Own.” And for those that are metaphorically challenged that’s simply means” God bless the child that has her own home based small business’

Well I’ve done my part. The statistics splattered all over the nightly news and in the Local Newspaper don’t scare Me. Are you goanna let ‘em intimidate you?

Will you put on your entrepreneurial thinking helmet and get in the game. “Or will you continue to stand on the sideline of life and be a life-time bystander”

100,000 people (mostly traditional business owners and other professionals) are thrilled about exercising their new found entrepreneurial ideas since most big businesses are sinking faster than the titanic…

If you want to learn more, stay home with the kids, increase income and pay your debts off quicker than your current job provides,

10 –minute video reveals How?

Imagine not worrying or caring about the economy or about where your next meal is coming from, who’s going to watch the kids while you work 2 jobs or will you even be employed next week, month or year.

Will you decide to stir your entrepreneurial juices and start your home-based business today?

Robert Allen 10 years ago explained the importance of multiple income streams in his best selling book Multiple Streams of Income… how many of us wish we had listened? Implement your entrepreneurial ideas before it’s too late.

Why is it that some business owners just create a mediocre business while other can develop multiple businesses that all skyrocket to success? Well it’s simple really. They have one major but distinct difference. It’s their mindset.

The entrepreneurs that seem to have “The Midis Touch” and everything turns to gold and their businesses always seem to just boom look at life and look at business in a particular way. They see things differently than the masses of people and other entrepreneurs; they have a true entrepreneurial mindset.

Now why is that? Were they born with a certain way of looking at life? No, they have spent time and spent energy developing themselves to have a particular set of beliefs and to think a certain way. They have developed this mindset.

So does this mean that anyone can develop the true entrepreneurial mindset? Yes, absolutely. So let’s get into them so that you can start developing your own mindset.

There are 10 key points that we will cover for the entrepreneurial mindset.

1) They are committed people. They have fully committed themselves to the task at hand. They do not waiver or back down from the challenge of building their business. It really is easier to quit and to go back to life the way it was but they have committed to their goals and dreams and that’s what they are going to do.

2) They know that they will overcome the challenges. Because of this mindset, this way of looking at life, challenges just become a part of the process. Challenges don’t stop the entrepreneur; the entrepreneur knows that they will get challenges so they are ready for them.

3) They are problem solvers. When they come across a problem, they solve it. This is actually how most entrepreneurs get the idea for their business. It was a problem for people and they solved it and profited from the solution.

4) They have discipline. Since entrepreneurs do not have a boss, they are the boss, they must have discipline. They choose when to keep at it and to work more or when it’s time for a break.

5) They know their self worth. Having the right mindset also means that the entrepreneur knows the value that they can offer and what they can bring to the table. They understand the power that they have inside and how to harness it.

6) The think long term. They know their vision of what they are trying to achieve and they focus on it. They are looking towards the future that they are creating and what steps need to be accomplished to reach their vision. Basically, they know where they are going.

7) They are free thinker. If you have the entrepreneurial mindset, then you do not think inside the box. You are expanding the box a pushing the boundaries as best as you can.

8) They are innovative. They create and they build. They pave the way for others to follow.

9) They are willing to fail. Most people are afraid of failing. The true entrepreneur fails and looks at these failures as a way to grow and to better themselves. After they fail at something they say to themselves “Well, that didn’t work, let’s try this way.” They fail and keep moving forward.

10) Finally and most importantly, they are driven by growth. They want to learn and to develop themselves as a person. The want to grow as a person to be the best person that they can be and from this, everything else falls into place.

Having a mindset with all of these components, you will be a true entrepreneur with a great entrepreneurial mindset.

What is it that motivates the entrepreneur and true home based business opportunity seeker?

Of all the hundreds of thousands of people who make the transition every year from employee to entrepreneur, some succeed and others fail.

Could there be some common characteristics those who manage to succeed all have in common?

Many of these successful home based business opportunity seeker seems to recall some sense of urgency when starting their business. This sense of urgency has been described as a transition which took them from merely the desire to start a business to a necessity.

Ranking high on the true entrepreneur’s list of reasons for striking out on their own also seems to be a fundamental need to control their own destiny. The true entrepreneur is never truly happy taking orders from a higher-up and ultimately, seeks to find some way in which they can shape their own destiny.

There are many different motivating factors which inspire home based business opportunity seekers to become their own boss. For some, it’s the desire to improve their overall quality of life. For others, it’s the need to achieve a personal level of accomplishment by reaching certain goals.

Now, desire and passion aren’t all it takes to be successful, but these are the things that will make the big difference over time in the way of long term success and financial independence.

As a bit of a personal note, I truly believe that a large majority of the people who manage to find success in business in general as well as business online have one truly important thing in common.

I’ve heard said that the #1 mistake entrepreneurs and home based business opportunity seekers make is looking for the hottest product to sell.

Let me explain…

Sure it’s great to have a product that’s in demand, however take this into consideration. People don’t purchase products because of the product itself. People purchase products because of the benefits those products offer.

More important that trying to sell the hottest product is being passionate about your product and your business. People respond to genuine enthusiasm about products and services. When you are passionate about what you do, it really makes all the difference.

Something I like to say is this, “it’s much, much easier to turn something you love into a business/money making opportunity than it is to turn a business/money making opportunity into something that you love.”

Last year there was a massive wave of internet business opportunities that came about. Instead of the old fashioned way of advertising a business, like with television, newspapers, radio and magazines came a faster more world wide way, the internet.

With the internet came an explosion of new ways to communicate. Twitter, Digg, Squidoo Lens, Video marketing and Blog sites. With all these new ways to advertise an internet business, the opportunity of becoming an entrepreneur has opened up a huge playing field for all.

Are you ready to take the plunge and get out of that dead end job? To afraid of failing because you have no help? No worries, my company will walk you through step by step.

There are no business skills required with my company, nor even a lot of money is needed. All you need to have is an entrepreneurial drive. If you already have a product to sell, that is great. We train you how to advertise any product on the internet. If you do not have a product , we have one for you.

We have all the tools to help you. We have all the training it takes if you have no advertising budget, to an unlimited budget. We have training calls four nights a week to keep you on target. We have forums and leaders to answer all your questions.

If you have heard the saying before, that type of business working on the internet will not work! Or, are you nuts trying to go out on your own, you will never amount to anything! Or how about, Have you lost your mind?

Do not worry about what other people may say. If you want to be a true entrepreneur, you have to have discipline in your own self and not listen to all the neysayers. We also have help for you with that. We have a motivational call four mornings a week, so you can stay positive and focused.

It has been proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that the Internet is one of the most versatile and productive tools in the hands of the right entrepreneur. Are you the right entrepreneur? What is a “right” entrepreneur? How do you classify entrepreneurs? What are the entrepreneurial business opportunities available that can make cash online?

The right entrepreneur is that who knows to translate his or her passion into a lucrative business without listening to any contradictory opinion. The right entrepreneur believes that if you push it hard enough

anything would move to a better position. The right entrepreneur also knows his or her weaknesses and strengths and uses them appropriately to make cash online with any type of business. If you look hard enough for entrepreneur business opportunities you will find plenty of choices both online and offline. In fact, the Net itself will showcase for you a huge

database of resources eagerly inviting you to join in their midst.

The best way to choose one from among the million and one entrepreneur business opportunities listed temptingly on the Internet is when the particular business would make you tingle with joy. The best entrepreneur business opportunities are not just means to earn cash online, but also an excellent way to refresh you mind. Choose wisely or the business would claim a major part of your time and finances and

offer you no extra benefit.

Two things can and should drive your efforts in choosing the right entrepreneur business opportunities. In order to be successful you can

choose anything under the sky provided that, (1) you should be passionate about it, and (2) the amount of finances required for the business would be just okay for you.

Passion is something that comes right from inside and keeps you going even when the whole world seems to be against you. There would always be a time when you would feel like throwing in the towel due to various

reasons. An entrepreneur is not afraid of challenges and obstacles; they are self-confident and single-minded in their approach to reach their goals even when they walk on an unbeaten path.

Very often the budget is the make or break factor. Usually, you should look for those business entrepreneur business opportunities that have high potential of growth, with the least of investment. If it is the other way around, then your efforts might not be worth it. The entrepreneur needs to have great business acumen and know when to invest further and when to pull out of modify their efforts.

There are plenty of the entrepreneur business opportunities to choose from, provided you already know what you wanted and are willing to see it done no matter what. Leverage your passion and expertise as a guide in finding that particular business. The acid test would be when you start to work and you find it more a pleasure than work. In this way you would not only earn cash online, but also gain excellent insights about the business.

The aspirations, attributes, and actions of a successful entrepreneur are vitally important to understand and implement in order to accomplish any of our goals or dreams in life. Believing, thinking big, taking risks, being different, learning from failure, and persisting until the goal is achieved are not only applicable to entrepreneurs – but to everyone! But, what does it take to be a successful entrepreneur? Do you believe that many of the foundational attributes necessary to succeed as an entrepreneur already lie within you? Awakening the entrepreneur inside of you is necessary to awaken your potential to thus become and accomplish anything in life.

These 40 essential tips I have personally learned in my entrepreneurial ventures; and yet, every successful person (regardless of their pursuit, accomplishments, or successes) has demonstrated these principles, and they are the reason for their success. This is part one of a three-part article series, and below are listed 15 general principles that are written and intended for entrepreneurs, but they are applicable to everyone – regardless of what your goal or dream is in life. The remaining 25 principles will be outlined in the second and third parts of this Entrepreneurial Success article series, and they will be much more specific for entrepreneurs:

1)      Entrepreneurs aren’t born – they are created!

2)Â Â Â Â Â They dream big, think big, talk big, and act big.

3)      They determine and create their own potential, profits, and successes – they recognize it is not determined by others or by circumstance.

4)Â Â Â Â Â They understand and implement the laws of success: desire success, believe in themselves and their dream, overcome fears and doubts, persist in action, learn from failure and never quit.

5)Â Â Â Â Â They write down their goals, review them often, revise them occasionally, and commit to them daily.

6)      They eliminate limiting beliefs and know that they can become and accomplish anything. The words: can’t, impossible, and too hard are not allowed in their thoughts, vocabulary, or actions. They understand that the only limitations in life are the ones we create and nourish within our own minds.

7)Â Â Â Â Â They understand that opportunities for greatness always come before they are prepared and leave before they realize it; and thus, they take risks and act now!

8)Â Â Â Â Â They understand that relationships, ethics, and hard work are far more important than the business idea, cutting expenses, or effective marketing campaigns.

9)Â Â Â Â Â They give and then receive, and they receive and then give.

10)Â The never view failures as a dead-end street; rather, failures are seen as road blocks that teach them, gets them one step closer, and causes other competitors to quit.

11)Â They do not have time to worry about what others think or say about them.

12)  They never give excuses. A lack of knowledge, time, or money will never stop them – they are always willing to gain knowledge, make time, and never give any excuse.

13)Â They are confident in themselves and their abilities. But they are also wise enough and humble enough to surround themselves with more talented, skilled, brilliant, and experienced people then themselves to help them achieve their goals.

14)Â They take risks, and they never quit!

15)Â Most importantly, they realize that the real success in life is not found in business accomplishments or wealth obtained, but is determined by their relationship with God, the type of parent and spouse they were, the character they developed, and the people they helped.

Passion is a powerful emotion. It ignites energy, enthusiasm and creativity, and brings meaningful purpose to life. The passion that motivated you to take a risk and start your business is also the fuel that keeps it moving ahead. It’s important to keep it alive and not allow it to fade as you focus on the mundane but necessary daily tasks of running your business.

Below are seven tips to keep your entrepreneurial passion aglow:

1. Keep the big picture before you — what you ultimately want your business to look like. Have someone paint a picture or make your own from magazine photos. Hang it where you’ll see it often.

2. Set clearly defined goals to get you there. Break these down into smaller, bite-sized goals and daily ‘to-do’ lists. This will help connect even those humdrum daily tasks to the passion that drives you. Celebrate your progress — recognize every major step that moves you closer to your dream.

3. Verbalize your passion. Talk about your dreams and goals with others: employees, vendors, clients and prospective clients. Passion is highly contagious and voicing it will excite and energize you as well as inspiring that same enthusiasm in your audience.

4. Commit to explore new ideas. Fresh ideas can re-ignite your enthusiasm, enliven business and increase sales. Schedule time for a meeting of one each week with yourself — to step back, gain perspective and think about new possibilities, ways of doing things, markets you could test, and products or services you could develop.

5. Let your customers inspire you. Talk to them. Listen. Learn how you can make life easier for them. Ask for their suggestions. Make a point to find out what else they might need that you could offer.

6. Review why you started the business in the first place and rededicate yourself to pursue your dreams.

7. Take care of yourself and avoid burnout. To successfully make it over the long haul, it’s vital that you achieve and sustain a balanced lifestyle.

Don’t allow your entrepreneurial passion to wane — take time regularly to nurture it and re-ignite excitement for your business.

Do you want to earn your own money but you are too young to qualify for a part time job? Do you have the drive to earn money through hard work and perseverance? Would you rather prefer to be your own boss and earn your own money? Then you surely have the raw ingredients to become a successful entrepreneur. These are the beginnings of an entrepreneur: a good business idea, a desire to make good money, an aspiration to become your own boss. Successful businesses grow from these seeds. If you have these, then you should consider becoming an entrepreneur.

Steps to becoming a Teen Entrepreneur

Entering the world of entrepreneurship is not an easy endeavor. It requires a lot of thought and careful thinking. The first step is very important: you must understand and know yourself and what kind of entrepreneur you can be. Evaluate yourself and find out what interests you; what are the things that are most fun to you; what stuff do you know most about. From your answers to these questions, you can find many excellent ideas to start your own business. You should also ask yourself how hard you are willing to work to make your business a success.

Great Ideas for a Teen Entrepreneur

Being a teen doesn’t mean you can not think up a great idea for business. Think creatively and innovatively, explore different possibilities and solutions to problems, observe the latest trends – from these you can surely spot an excellent business idea you can start on. You can also get great entrepreneurial ideas from friends, family, teachers, library research and the internet. Afterwards, you can start researching about your business idea. Strive to know and understand the ins and outs of your prospective business. You should understand that business essentially involves “buying” and “selling”. Some understanding of the law of supply and demand will go a long way.

Got a great business idea! What now?

Now that you’ve found an excellent business idea, ask yourself the following important questions: Is it practical? Will people take notice of it? Will it fulfill a need? Do you have the capability to realize this business idea? Can you deliver high quality products or services? Is there a substantial demand for your business? If not, can you create that demand? Where will you get the capital to finance your business? All these questions must be addressed before you start establishing your business.

Business Ideas for Promising Teen Entrepreneurs

With the huge array of business ideas that are available for the budding teen entrepreneur, finding the one right for you may be a daunting task. Here are some promising business ideas that promising teen entrepreneurs like you may find interesting.

Teen Entrepreneur Idea # 1: Candle Making

Candles are very popular as home décor and accessories nowadays. You probably have a decorative candle in your bedroom or living room. Why not create your own personalized candles and sell them to your friends and acquaintances. Learning how to make candles is actually quite easy. This makes candle making an excellent idea for money-making. You can start by learning how to make candles and where to buy your materials.

You can find candle making resources and materials from craft stores, community centers and candle-making studios. If you already have family and friends who make candles as a hobby, you can ask them to teach you the basics of the craft. Just be creative and display your artistic nature in the candles you make. Afterwards you can sell your personalized candles to your friends, family members, neighbors, flea markets, bazaars, farmers’ markets, etc. You can also sell your candles through internet malls and eBay.

Teen Entrepreneur Idea # 2: Run Errands

If you like moving around, keeping busy and multitasking, then running errands for other people for a fee can be a good idea for business. As we all know, today’s fast paced lifestyles means that many of the people you know might not have the time to do simple chores such as buying groceries, walking the pet, mowing the loan, washing the car, etc. Why not start your own service business by offering to do these errands for a fee. Ask around your friends, neighborhood and even family members to see if they need someone to do their errands for them. You can also post brochures and flyers that advertise your services.

These are just two of the many business ideas that teen entrepreneurs like you can consider. Just remember that any business endeavor requires hard work and perseverance to be successful. With the right mindset and the right dose of enthusiasm, you can surely start your own business and make money in no time at all.

Do you want to be a successful entrepreneur? You probably have an excellent idea and you’re thinking over whether it is doable or not, whether it will bring in revenues, and whether it has the potential to expand into a more profitable business venture. Now that you find yourself with the desire to start your own business, there are still a lot of things you have to consider and think about. First you have to ask yourself if you have what it takes to own and maintain a business. You should know that the world of entrepreneurship is not for everyone. Yes, the opportunities for profit and self-fulfillment are great, but so are the risks involved.

Being an entrepreneur can be a life-changing endeavor, thus, you really have to be prepared for anything that may happen. There are some specific character traits that every entrepreneur must possess or develop. These include perseverance, hard work, independence, self confidence, commitment to quality and success, honesty and many more. If you think you really have what it takes to be an entrepreneur then you are ready to proceed to the next step, and that is to find the type of business you want to establish and own.

Finding the right Entrepreneur Opportunity

As you know by now, there are literally thousands of business opportunities available for the budding entrepreneur. With all these choices, what type of business are you going to pursue? There are actually two approaches to finding the right entrepreneur opportunity for you. There’s the traditional approach and the “follow your passion” approach. The traditional approach to finding the right business opportunity involves a systematic and methodical process. It involves careful planning, thorough research of the market, recognizing a need and creating the product or service to fulfill that need.

First, you have to choose the field of business that you are most interested in. Then, you can now embark on researching the ins and outs of that industry and the different businesses that can be found within it. Afterwards, you can do market research to find out if there is an unmet need in the form of products, services, prices, etc. Then you can proceed to analyzing the competition and checking out how their business models work.

You can now start on making your preliminary business plan. Make sure to do market research to see the market potential for your chosen business. Re-evaluate and re-assess your business plan and determine how much capital you are going to need. Then, you can start seeking out investors and lenders who can help you finance your business. The traditional approach to entrepreneur opportunities is obviously labor-intensive and time-consuming, as well as potentially expensive, but careful planning before actually starting the business will also reduce the risk of failure as time goes by.

Another approach in finding the right entrepreneur opportunity is the “follow your passion” philosophy. This approach involves following and doing what you love and the money will start coming in. This can be an excellent way to start your own business but you should understand that many people have also followed and did what they love and still did not succeed well enough. This approach encourages you to find out what type of business you should pursue through self-discovery and observation. Reflect on what you are truly interested in and passionate about and look for ways to make a business out of it. Observe your surroundings to see If there is an unmet need. You can then create a product or service to fulfill that need.

Inspiration is also an important aspect of this approach to identifying an entrepreneur opportunity. Who knows that idea that simply popped into your mind while driving your kids to school may actually be an excellent business idea that can eventually lead to success? Another aspect of this approach is imitation. You can simply find a tried-and-tested business model and copy it in another market. You can also consider getting a franchise. Franchises are already proven business models, and you also get support from the company to help you start out your business.

These two approaches are both effective in helping you find out what entrepreneur opportunity you must pursue. Although these approaches are not failure-proof, they can really help you increase your chances of success in the highly-competitive world of business.

Essential Entrepreneurial Skills that Propel your Business to Success.

Though various reasons are attributed for starting a business the main reason without any doubt is to make money. People who start a business know very well that they can never become rich by working for someone else all life long.

To start a business and run it successfully, a range of essential entrepreneurial skills are necessary. If success is what you are after, then it stands to reason that you possess most of the essential skills or acquire them before you commence your business especially if you want to run the business yourself.

The other alternative will be to take in a partner or employee who possesses a particular skill or the skills that you are deficient in.

What then are the essential entrepreneurial skills the business entrepreneur should possess?

1. Planning Skill.

Proper planning is the fundamental first step you should undertake when you consider starting a new business. Feasibility of the business, marketing of the product, local competition and funding are some of the essential aspects that should be studied carefully. Good planning should be able to forecast and foresee the changing market conditions and adopt suitable strategies to counter or take advantage of them. They should also explore possibilities of adding new products or services to keep up with the changing circumstances and beat the competition.

2.Techinical or Knowledge Skill:

If you are turning out a product, you should possess the necessary skills to produce that product. Experience gained in working in similar work places or a professional qualification will stand you in good stead. Of course for certain types of businesses, experience is not essential but to satisfy your customers and provide a good service, technical skills play an important role.

Furthermore it is absolutely essential to keep on updating your knowledge by reading books and attending seminars to keep ahead of your competitors.

3.Marketing Skill:

Marketing is another very important essential skill on which depends the very success or failure of your business. It is the process of identifying your potential customers and persuading them to buy your products or services. Sales, Promotions, Pricing and Public Relations are some of the skills that are an essential part of marketing. Mishandling or negligence of this aspect can lead to failure.

4. Financial Skill:

Financial skills play a major role in the running of a business big or small. Book keeping, estimating, invoicing, negotiating credit terms, controlling cash flow are some aspects of the financial skills you should be able to handle. Negligence of this aspect can lead to recurring cash flow problems such as inability to purchase goods, non payment to suppliers and irregular payment of bank loans. It is obvious that with these problems no entrepreneur can succeed or have peace of mind in running a business.

5. Management Skill:

The need for management skills becomes necessary, especially if you have the intention of employing several employees. Skills in areas such as recruitment, team building, motivation, knowledge of employment law and health and safety requirements are all part of management skills. Knowledge of these skills and implementing them judiciously will help you build a team of motivated employees working for the success of your enterprise.

6. Organizational Skill:

Whether your business is big or small or whether you employ workers to run your business, your organizational skill will be tested fullyas an etrepreneur. You have to set up systems to take orders, handle enquiries and maintain records. A knowledge of these skills will help in the efficient day to day running of the business.

Conclusion:

Each and every entrepreneurial skill mentioned above is essential. If you do not possess some of these skills, acquire them. The easy way out is to go into partnership or employ someone who possesses these skills. Adopting these measures will mean that you are now on the right track to become a successful business entrepreneur.
