58. Work report. It is a good idea to provide clients with the detailed report on work performed. Clients always like to see what they are paying for. If entrepreneurs can prove that their services or products are really effective they will easily get customer’s satisfaction!

59. Brand development. It may take years for an online entrepreneur to create a wellrecognized

60. Customer support! Fast operating and highly effective customer support may play a crucial role in your online business. Remember that support system of a serious online business is available 24/7. All questions and issues of clients must be resolved immediately! Show your clients that you are always at their disposal and you will be rewarded for this!

61. An online entrepreneur should understand that and are different websites. So, once you launch a Terms of Use: This e-book may be freely redistributed provided it is not charged for, is delivered Intact and unedited, and All links and References remain unchanged. website it is better to wait some time and see, which of these websites is indexed by Google. Afterwards, select the main website and perform 301 redirect. Build incoming links for the main website only!

62. Regular competitor research. Each online entrepreneur has to perform the detailed analysis of competitors on a regular basis. Study their products or service packages, pricing policy, keywords and website promotion methods. This activity will significantly help online entrepreneurs save time on marketing their online businesses.

63. Natural website promotion. Try to make your online advertising strategy as natural as possible. When, for example, it comes to link building, develop your links in a natural way. So, from time to time provide incoming links with anchor texts like “Click here!” or “this” to your website. If, for example, you have found forum posts where interesting online resources are discussed – don’t hurry up and don’t make a post with your link after registration. Wait a few days or a week and make at least 10-20 posts participating in other discussions. The efficiency of this work will be much higher!

Wait a few days or a week and make at least 10-20 posts participating in other discussions. The efficiency of this work will be much higher!

64. Search engines change their algorithms! It should be noted that the algorithms of all popular search engines are regularly updated. Online entrepreneurs should take into account this fact. So, if some internet marketing method works perfectly today it may stop working in the future. Thus, the next entrepreneur training tip is to use different website promotion techniques!

65. Do you work regularly! Many upcoming online entrepreneurs make the same mistake in their practice. They work from time to time and sometimes even forget about their web projects! I would like to say that it is better to build 10-20 incoming links per week and perform the work regularly. This works looks naturally. Nevertheless, many entrepreneurs select the wrong strategy. They build 1000 incoming links during a month and then forget about a web project for a long time! Remember, it is not an attitude to business!

66. Show the activity! This question especially concerns the owners of online blogs and

67. Negative results are also achievements! To err is human, but many online entrepreneurs get into despair after failing their first web projects. Most mistakes made by entrepreneurs can be explained by the lack of experience. All entrepreneurs make mistakes in their online businesses. But the main benefit of these mistakes is practice. Just analyze your mistakes properly, learn a lesson and make the correct conclusions. Acting in such a way, you will manage to avoid the same mistakes in the future!

68. Stop in time! Sometimes it is very important for an online entrepreneur to stop in time. If you work hard and your online business doesn’t bring desirable results it is better to stop! Try to change your business strategy in the right way! If your new business plan doesn’t work as well it makes sense to stop and try to realize a new idea!

69. Communication with successful entrepreneurs! For beginners it is very important to talk with online entrepreneurs, who have already managed to achieve success in their business Terms of Use: This e-book may be freely redistributed provided it is not charged for, is delivered Intact and unedited, and All links and References remain unchanged.

When a woman business owner makes the decision to hire help, hiring an assistant is an excellent first step in building a team. Even if an entrepreneur doesn’t feel ready to create a team immediately, the right assistant eventually can serve as the link between the business owner and the team in the future. Selecting an assistant who meets an entrepreneur’s specific needs (both immediate and future needs) is absolutely essential in forming a relationship that will set the foundation for a strong team later one.

A recent study from Jane Out of the Box, an authority on female entrepreneurs, reveals there are five distinct types of women in business. Based on professional market research of more than 3,500 women in business, this study shows that each type of business owner has a unique approach to running a business and therefore each one has a unique combination of needs. This article outlines two of the five types and provides tips for each one to consider when hiring an assistant.

Jane Dough is an entrepreneur who enjoys running her business and generally, she makes a nice living. She is comfortable and determined in buying and selling, which may be why she’s five times more likely than the average female business owner to hit the million dollar mark. Jane Dough is clear in her priorities and may be intentionally and actively growing an asset-based or legacy business. It is estimated that 18% of women entrepreneurs fall in the category of Jane Dough.

Because Jane Dough often delegates almost too much and then moves quickly on to her next strategizing session, she needs an assistant who will ask questions when necessary and who will be able to command Jane Dough’s attention and then communicate quickly and efficiently once she has it. Jane Dough business owners tend to be so focused on growth and strategy that they don’t communicate their vision. Therefore, team members often feel disconnected. An assistant can act as the liaison between Jane Dough and the rest of the team.

Professional skills and experience Jane Dough should look for: managerial skills, effective communication skills, multi-tasking, organization.

Personality traits Jane Dough should look for: confidence, an outgoing nature, a can-do attitude, a thick skin, autonomy, flexibility.

Go Jane Go is passionate about her work and provides excellent service, so she has plenty of clients – so much so, she’s struggling to keep up with demand. She may be a classic overachiever, taking on volunteer opportunities as well, because she’s eager to make an impact on the world and she often struggles to say no. Because she wants to say yes to so many people, she may even be in denial about how many hours she actually works during the course of a week. As a result, she may be running herself ragged and feeling guilty about neglecting herself and others who are important to her.

Go Jane Go business owners often find delegating difficult because they worry that no one else will live up to their own high standards. Therefore, they must hire helpers who are detail-oriented and who strive for perfection like she does, and who will find creative ways to encourage Go Jane Go to delegate to him or her. Also, Go Jane Go values her relationships with customers so much that she sometimes goes above and beyond what is reasonable, stretching her personal and business resources. Therefore, while an assistant Go Jane Go hires must be customer-friendly, he or she also must be able to provide Go Jane Go with a reality check when a client’s demands exceed practicality. Finally, an assistant to Go Jane Go must have excellent communication and organization skills so he or she can effectively handle running a team while providing Go Jane Go with the information she needs to feel confident that her team is performing at the high caliber she demands.

Professional skills and experience Go Jane Go should look for: attention to detail, managerial skills, previous experience as an assistant, customer service skills, excellent communication skills.

Personality traits Go Jane Go should look for: perfectionism, confidence, a take-charge attitude.

Although working with a team may provide excellent benefits and results, an entrepreneur may not be ready for the costs and challenges of managing a team right away. Hiring an assistant is a great starting point in creating a team, as it encourages a woman business owner to learn to delegate effectively and provides a future link between the business owner and a team.

i’m having a really hard tie finding good, solid research on two proposed bills for speech and debate. they are:
A Bill to Revolutionize the Fuel Industry
Article I: This bill will allow water to be used instead of gasoline to power vehicles.
Article II: A. A new engine will be implemented in vehicles to allow water to power these vehicles via hydrogen.
B. It will convert water into hydrogen via electrolysis, and the hydrogen will be combusted in the combustion chamber of the engine, providing an incredibly powerful fuel source for vehicles.
C. This will allow less oil to be used, thereby preserving our natural resources.
Article III: The provisions of this bill shall take effect January 1 of 2011.
Article IV: The Department of Transportation shall be responsible for enforcing the provisions of this bill. All companies that do not comply will have a 45% tariff placed on their products being sold in the United States.
Article V: All laws or portions of laws in conflict with this bill shall be null and void.

the trouble with this is that there really isnt any negation to it. the opposition has nothing to use against the bill.

the second is:
A Bill to Expand Opportunities for Entrepreneurs

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. The commercial business of prostitution shall be declared a legal enterprise and taxed appropriately.
1) An appropriate tax shall be deemed 40% of the total amount paid for service.
2) All businesses that practice prostitution shall be strictly regulated to ensure that health standards are upheld and employee rights are protected.
SECTION 2. Prostitution shall be defined as the act or practice of engaging in sexual activity indiscriminately for money.
SECTION 3. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Labor shall have joint jurisdiction over this policy.

Last week, we looked at the important role that youth entrepreneurship plays in the overall economic development of Jamaica. Unfortunately, despite aspirations to create their own income sources, many young people struggle to find ways to achieve their business dreams.

It’s a common belief by new entrepreneurs that the route to business success lies in easier access to start-up financing for their fledgling operations. The reality is that an injection of money can sometimes be insufficient to help an enterprise prosper if the owner is inexperienced in business.

From observing the mistakes of many young entrepreneurs (myself included), I know that working capital will often be misused and wasted in the hands of someone who is just starting out in business. The saying “Experience is the best teacher,” could very well have been written by an entrepreneur who gained worldly wisdom after several costly business errors!

The challenge for most young entrepreneurs is that they usually don’t have the money to pay for expert business guidance that can make their journey smoother and less stressful. Many business newbies also don’t recognise the value of cautious advice, thinking that no one can understand their business ideas better than they do.

Mentorship: The Voice of Experience

I believe that one of the most essential factors for the promotion of a thriving youth entrepreneur sector in Jamaica is the availability of mentors to provide business counselling. Business mentors are experienced business owners who volunteer to coach persons on how to successfully run their own operations.

While consultants can be hired to provide business guidance, mentors usually offer their services without charge. It might seem strange for someone to offer this valuable advice for free, but mentors are usually looking to give back to society by playing a part in the economic advancement of their community, or are actually honing their own strategising and consulting skills.

One of the major problems in self-employment is that there is no boss to turn to for direction. There are so many pitfalls and wrong turns along the entrepreneurial journey for someone who has never run a business before, that it’s crucial to have expert advice every step of the way.

Another benefit of business mentors is that they usually have access to a network of other influential persons who can be tapped to support the new business in several ways. Mentors can also supply emotional encouragement, as entrepreneurship can often be a lonely and overwhelming occupation for young persons.

Where Can You Find A Business Mentor?

One of the simplest ways to locate a mentor is to examine your contact lists and look around your community to identify persons who may have the expertise you need for your business. Your relatives, teachers, business owners, church colleagues, service club members, newspaper columnists, even your former bosses may have a wealth of information to guide you.

If you are going to be requesting advice from strangers, it’s important to be prepared with the appropriate questions so that you don’t waste their valuable time. It would be best to write a letter or email explaining what you’re trying to achieve, and asking for a brief meeting where they can help to guide you from their years of experience.

Once your initial contact is successful and the prospective mentor seems willing to help, ask for a follow up discussion within a month or two to review your progress. If a relationship develops, it’s important to respect your mentor’s time and expertise by being punctual, taking notes, carrying out suggestions, taking initiative as you grow, and showing appreciation for his or her efforts.

Young Entrepreneurs Association of Jamaica

Although we don’t have established business mentoring institutions like those that exist in the United States of America, Canada or New Zealand, there is at least one organisation where young entrepreneurs in Jamaica can get guidance.

The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Jamaica (YEA), a non-profit organization designed to support young people in business, was created by the Jamaica Employers’ Federation (JEF) in 2005. According to its website, www.yeajamaica.com, the YEA provides members with “an opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences and take advantage of peer mentorship as they grow their businesses.”

President of the YEA, Stephen Spence, explained that mentoring is a key focus of the association, as groups meet monthly to discuss their business issues and get confidential counselling and advice. There is also valuable interaction with entrepreneurs within the 55-member enterprises currently in the YEA, along with the wider business community at their training and networking events throughout the year.

Spence noted that the YEA is about to embark on an ambitious programme to significantly impact the development of youth entrepreneurship in Jamaica, which will be revealed at its annual expo on July 3.

I like to encourage persons who are experts in their fields of endeavour to pass on their knowledge to youngsters. I’m throwing out a challenge to every successful Jamaican business owner – help to create a more viable business sector in our country by becoming a mentor to young entrepreneurs!

I want to study communications and major in advertising/marketing because I want to eventually become an entrepreneur. I got into a few different schools (Michigan State, Florida State, Drew, Boston University, and I got wait-listed at Wake Forest). I have ruled out MSU and FSU because they were really my EXTREME safety schools and I am confused about the other 3. Now on one hand, BU has a fantastic communications program and it is in Boston which not only gives me a lot of job opportunities but will be a lot of fun. Drew I liked as a safety, my dad and uncles went there and it was nice but i never fell in love with it. Now the big decision for me i think will be BU and Wake, assuming I get in. The problem with Wake is that it doesn’t specialize in communications and I am nervous I am going to be will all Fairfield county people all over again. However, it is significantly higher in the ratings that BU and prestige is EXTREMELY important to both my family and myself. HELP what do i do?
I signed up for BU already (meaning i put down the deposit money but that doesnt mean that i payed tuition and if i get into Wake i can still back out of BU) but I’m trying to figure out in the best case scenario: that I get into both schools (or rather Wake since I’m already accepted at BU) what to do then.

Well guys…

From about 18-21 I obtained a few different credit cards (3-5). In my young stupidity I ran these cards up and could not pay them off. Last year, I saved up about $5,000 and contacted all of the collection agencies that had been writing me letters. I settled on all of the cards for the price they were asking. I should’ve paid the entire amount but I didn’t have the cash and was under the impression that paying the requested amount from the collection agencies was the same as paying off the card entirely.

Here I am now, 23 years old and wanting to buy a house in the next 2 years. I currently have 3 credit cards that I pay on time every month in an attempt to rebuild my credit score. I also have a student loan that’s in good standing. However, I have about 5 negative accounts on my credit report from the cards I had when I was young and closed. I am DESPERATE to repair my credit and am willing to take any steps I can but I just don’t have many resources. I have written letters to all of the companies on my credit report kindly asking them to remove the negative accounts but my requests were all denied. I Google’d “credit repair services” but it seems that everything I find is expensive, illegal or both.

I really would like to get my credit above 660+ for car loans, mortgages etc. but I am far below that. Last year my score was 592 and now that I have new credit cards trying to IMPROVE my credit, my score has dropped to around 560. I am extremely frustrated.

Is there anything I can do that I’m not doing? Most of the accounts on my report say that they will not be removed until 2014. Will I really have to wait that long? Once the accounts are off does your score automatically go up? I apologize for being a newbie but I really do want to learn. I’m an aspiring entrepreneur and am learning that credit is EVERYTHING. I eventually want to start building business credit but have learned, to the best of my knowledge, that that even relies heavily on your personal credit.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. PLEASE HELP!?

I will continue to assist Entrepreneurs in every way to succeed, to improve whatever it is that they are doing. Can’t help it. It is a genetic trait that we humans have; a natural desire for upward mobility.

It’s not the Yuppie Syndrome, as much as it is self-improvement and personal success. It seems that it is a drive in varying degrees of passion with each individual that exists from birth, otherwise our species would die out after a couple generations!

A short time ago a major magazine reported this gene as The God Gene. Thereby we might say we have a divine desire to better ourselves, an upward reach for greatness. Another way of looking at it is that we are adapting in our evolution.

In any case, we either improve or we die, much like the chickens in the hen house. If you’ve watched the critters they have no mercy. They peck at each other until they have reached a pecking order of superiority, usually with the last one being pecked so much that it literally is pecked to death!

Fortunately, the majority of scientists now theorize that we humans have not evolved over the past 16,000 years with the same instinct as the chickens. Contrary to the popular movies today, when our prehistoric ancestors first met a new tribe they were much more likely to sit down around a campfire and swap stories, boast of great tales and gossip. They were much more likely to lend help to one another than to fight for supremacy.

What in the world does this have to do with Entrepreneurs, I heard someone say? Well, a lot. The evidence that our ancient ancestors were more inclined to help each other than hurt each other changes the whole premise on which we have viewed most of history! Man, by nature, is more inclined to help and support others than to tear them down. Dictators, despots, tyrants and criminals, including Burma are aberrations. Kindness and caring IS the rule.

So as we greet the end of summer we can celebrate the reality that within each of us is that divine desire for self betterment and that oh-so-natural desire to help our friends. As each of us grows our businesses we grow ourselves. Edwin Markham wrote in his later years,

We are all blind until we see,

That in the human plan,

Nothing is worth the building

That does not build the man.

Why build these cities glorious

If man unbuilded goes?

In vain we build the world

Unless the builder also grows!

Once in a while we run across someone who proves her mettle as a genuine human being and caring person. She is the epitome of this God-Gene, and we’re grateful she’s a friend. Other Entrepreneurs have gone beyond the call of duty in every respect over their lives in displaying not only their openness and great ideas but their abilities to support and share.

Emerson said that he was the sum of all those he had met. I guess it is my quest to be a positive influence not only in my only family’s life but the entire human family that I meet. So, why fight it? It’s OK to be good! Try a little random act of kindness today. Couldn’t hurt.

I am a Chinese student who is applying to transfer from community college to UC now. I wrote a personal statement for my application. Could anyone help me revise my grammars and sentence patterns? Even a paragraph or a sentence, I would appreciate it.

My interest in economics and business has reasons. For one thing, born in a business family, I had been influenced by my family’s economics sense and education. For another, I was nurtured in a new China which keeps economic development as its central task and under a backdrop of rapidly growing economic globalization

When I was in middle school, I organized some classmates collecting the discarded bottles and cans on campus, and then we sent them to the reclamation depot, receiving some petty cash. I outlined the rules of our little “company” and the responsibilities of every member. We were happy because we earned money by doing a virtuous thing. Finally, we donated most of the money to our class as the activity funds. This was my first contact with business activity.

After I graduated from my Chinese college, I opened an online store primarily selling slippers in the largest Chinese C2C website, TaoBao. During that period, I was working around the clock. I dedicated myself to it. One of my biggest proud of it was that I received 100 percent positive feedback from all customers. It was extremely hard to achieve this because I needed to pay my true love to both my store and the customers all the time. Under my direction, the business was flourishing every day, and we soon became one of the biggest slipper sellers in TaoBao. During the half a year, my earnings were more than most Chinese workers’ two-year-earnings. Meanwhile, I also solved a poor classmate’s employment problem by offering him a job. It is currently being run by my cousin, and the address is http://shop33903193.taobao.com/.

No matter I reclaimed bottles and cans or ran online store was for the common purposes: to maintain the environment and to help others. I thought we could save resources and reduce pollutions through recycling waste and the online store could save people’s time as well as reduce emission by decreasing the vehicle operation.

When I was in the Chinese college, I was often wondering why the economic development was always accompanying with political struggle and a sacrifice of environmental disruption. It is good for a state to pursue its economic advancement, but it should take the responsibility of protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development as well. How to achieve this goal? How to arouse people’s consciousness? These are some of the questions always puzzled me. I hope I could search out an answer by seeking knowledge in the U.S. which has the most advanced political and economic system in the world.

Because of my explicit preferences, I have already had my future in mind. I might become an entrepreneur, a CEO, or an environmentalist. Regardless, if I choose to start my own business, I will prefer low-carbon industries; if I become a manager, I will take environment into the first consideration; if I work in government, I must engage in environmental work. I do want to earn money, but I want to contribute to the society even more; we do need increasingly economic growth, but we need green mountains, clear waters, blue sky and white cloud even more. I admire Americans could enjoy the fresh air and sunshine in California coast, and I wish my country could enjoy this someday.

this is what i have so far of the novel i’m writing. yes, it’s long, but please take the time to read it! i have no idea where to take the story from here.

THE JOURNAL

Erica Murphy

Summary: Chelsea Burgins expected a normal commute to work that Thursday morning. The usual pushy, hurried businessmen and women rushing to be on time for those eight-o-clock meetings, taxis and buses speeding through the busy New York streets, traffic lights every block all added to her frustration of working in the city. Little did she know that what she would find aboard the bus would change her life forever.

Foreword: There was nothing set in stone, and Chelsea was completely sure of nothing. She felt as though she had known this man her whole life, but knew that in reality she had no idea who he was, where he was, or what he looked like. She had found a random red journal on the bus, and planned on turning it into the police station, but thought that it may be somewhat pointless. She knew they had more important things to worry about than a stupid journal. If it was a hundred thousand dollars that she turned in, they might care more, but all it was to them was a stupid journal that none of their precious time should be wasted on. And that’s the part that killed her. It wasn’t just some lame ratty old journal. This book held the words that she had breathed in for the past three weeks. This book changed her life, and made her see the world in a completely different light. Chelsea wanted to tell Taylor about the journal, but deep down she knew that her best friend, too, would consider it to be a dumb idea. She doesn’t even know the guy, for god’s sake! But for some reason, he meant the world to her. And now what could she do but sit there, read it, and hope that she could somehow find out who it was that wrote these beautiful words on the paper that she held in her hands at this moment. He whoever he is, was the best thing that had ever happened to her, and there was no way she could just let him fade from her life. He had shown her what a true, honest man was like. She wouldn’t have to search through a bunch of scum bags to find the perfect man anymore. Here he was, his words right there in her hands. She had no idea what she was doing or why she was doing it. The only thing she was certain of was, she was in love with him, and she needed to find him.

Chapter One

They were both so beautiful, they way that they looked at each other, intoxicated simply just by the sight of the other, holding hands that soon would be joined forever. But for some reason, standing there staring up at them, it killed Chelsea. She was so happy that her best friend, Taylor Chastain (soon to be Taylor O’Neil) was finally standing up on that altar. The true love that radiated from their bodies drowned Chelsea Burgins in pain. She had known Taylor her whole life, and when they were young, they always dreamed of the men they would marry and the beautiful weddings they would have. And there she was, in the ugliest bridesmaid dress she had ever laid eyes on, holding Taylor’s bouquet of a carefully placed arrangement of white and red roses. Looking up at her best friend in her lovely white dress, embroidered with a wonderful array of flowers, her veil flowing down past her lower back, with baby’s breath weaved inside her hair, and long train covering the entire four steps up to the altar, she couldn’t help but hate her. Not just hate, but despise her. Granted, she was very excited for Taylor on her big day, marrying the man of her dreams, but Chelsea just wondered where in the hell her prince charming was. She had always been prettier than Taylor, she heard it everyday since elementary school, but somehow none of the abnormally athletically gifted boys in High School or the unbelievably handsome, rich entrepreneurs of New York had ever been good enough for her. They had all loved her with all of their hearts, but she could never find it in her heart to love them back. There was always something wrong, whether it was that they were offered too many full ride scholarships, had too many expensive cars, or had too much money, there was nothing that made her feel the need to love them. They were all such good men, honest citizens and goal- oriented, but they weren’t what she wanted. She had come from a long line of beautiful women and lots of money, so naturally she only dated men of the same class. Why did she never find what she needed? Why did Taylor get to find the perfect man before she did? They were both 24 years old, and Chelsea knew it was time to find someone to settle down with, but she couldn’t. And this wedding was making her sick to her stomach. She literally felt so nauseous she thought that she just might hurl up last night’s lonely spaghetti dinner all over Taylor’s beautifully handmade dress. Why was it that love made her feel so empty and weak? She was in a park that was completely packed with p
