I have the money, support and skills to be a hopefully successful entrepreneur…
However my question is, should I have a education in case it doesn’t go well? In case I need to go look for another job?
I mean how does one put “entrepreneur” on a resumes for jobs if it doesn’t go well…. you can’t…
unless you ran a successful business with all the legal forms and sold it.
Or should I just dive straight into being a entrepreneur, risk what little I have.
I’m young… I can still recover after being unsuccessful?
I dunno.

I know i really can’t get that much jobs with that.
but i don’t care, its my passion, i’m young.
so if acting doesn’t work out, i can go back to school for something else.

In the business venturing world a SIDELINED ENTREPRENEUR is just that… someone who can enthusiastically follow the action, and who knows how the game is played, but is not a player in the start up, investor, or entrepreneur community.While you do know that there is such a thing as a general entrepreneur “expert success script” (the pattern for entrepreneurial success), several things are keeping you on the entrepreneur sidelines and out of the new venture capital (VC) game. You are reluctant to take start up or private equity risks. You lack investor and venture capital resources (cash, contacts, infrastructure, technology, etc.). And it’s likely that you don’t yet appreciate the highly-structured and complex patterns, plans and methods, or depth of discernment (knowing when a venture is “on” or “off” course) necessary for a clear understanding of the highly-specialized venture capital (VC) environment.

Also, it’s important to know that when the sidelined entrepreneurs happen to hold positions of power (such as a bank officer, attorney, accountant, etc.), they may feel all too free to give advice, and expect it to be taken.

So even though you can appear “entrepreneurial”, and you are often quite good at describing the expert success script… you are not an entrepreneur or venture capital expert, yet.

The Way Forward

You can certainly add value as part of a team in an existing business opportunity or start up by sharing your knowledge of the “entrepreneur success script”. But on your own, you are not in a position to pursue a new start up. Get involved in mentorship programs, and you will learn more skills required to pursue investors and private equity.

If you want to venture, the main thing that’s holding you back is your need for guesswork. You need to enhance and improve your ability to recognize when a venture is, or is not, following the patterns necessary for success. So take a course in entrepreneurship, preferably one taught using the “experiential method”. It’s important to identify experts who may be able to help you refine your “antenna” (helping you to pay attention to the fine points, strategies, and tactics of building a new business). Cources in experiential learning will also greatly help you grow and develop.

You may eventually discover that your entrepreneurial profile is changing, and that you are becoming an “Institutional Expert”…which may be a more rewarding venturing type for you. Such expertise will also help you attract greater investors, private equity, or venture capital investment.

The field draws upon concepts developed in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Human resources have at least two related interpretations depending on context. The original usage derives from political economy and economics, where it was traditionally called labor, one of four factors of production. Scope of KR in India –

If the Human Resources of an organisation are turned into Key Resources, they can turn the dreams of the organisation into reality in a very short span of time, as all KR’s have a clear understanding of –

2. The resources which will be engaged into it?

3. Desired output?

4. Best minds & hands for the completion of the task.

5. Method by which it can be completed at its optimum.

Conclusion –

To conclude this article it seems an immense need of the hour that further work has to be started immediately because turning every human resource into key resource put the organisation to new heights and a landmark in the industry.

I am currently about to enter a community college, aiming at getting my AA then transferring to a four year college, then graduate school.

During high school I privately studied philosophy, sociology, psychology, business entrepreneurship and economics. Overall my interest was analyzing the individual, society, and ultimately how they could better be joined. I always tried to stimulate my classes by encouraging them to give their input on various social issues and individual choices.

Currently, which obviously will probably change as I mature, I have no intention of holding a selected career for extended periods of time. I want to be a social entrepreneur at its very core, by impacting change through entrepreneurial methods. College is to enhance my skills and life as a whole, not for the benefit of some company or as security so I can work forty years before retiring. I want to have the flexibility to pursue my own interests, which may be with non-profits, NGOs, companies, etc.

I’m not as interested in race issues and poverty in America as many Sociology students seem to be. I do not want to have to take a majority of classes that don’t relate to what I want to do. I am more interested in globalization, economics of foreign countries (or local not sure yet), politics, etc. If anyone has read The Drifters by James A. Michener, the narrator (forgot the name) is exactly the type of thing I would love to do.

So I was thinking Sociology with a minor in Economics might be good, or vice verse. Although majoring in Economics in my opinion would get tedious very quickly. I love Philosophy but I do not see it as a wise career path so I will have to continue studying it on my own.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Also I realize that to get into a position where you actually make the slightest of difference takes time and dedication. I’m asking how I can get my foot into the door of social change. I just don’t want to chose a degree where ten years down the road I regret it because I found that I’m not really qualified to work with certain organizations, businesses etc.
