Who thinks a kid entrepreneur is a good idea?

My younger brother wants to make some extra dough. Do you think it would be a good idea? Also, what should he sell if its a good idea?

how old is he? if he’s like 16 maybe anything younger probably not because the public probably wouldn’t take him too seriously. it sucks how society is so judgmental.

Its a great idea because people will be nice to him because he is a kid and buy from him, even if its a rip off.
In New Zealand, local kids sell Christmas trees on the side of the road to earn money. They make quite a bit but they have to sit outside all day.
There is nothing wrong with that. He can sell whatever he wants to sell. Lemonde is the old classic. Depending on his age, he can offer car washing services, mowing lawns, in the fall raking leaves. I did all that stuff as a kid. It is a good way to make extra bucks.
I think it’s a great idea.
He could start with something not so overwhelming like a paper route and save his money until he decides what he wants to invest his money in. You gotta have something to sell before you can sell it and you gotta pay for whatever that turns out to be, so my advice is get a paper route, mow some yards, paint some fences and save your money so that when you do decide, you’ll have the money you need to get started.
Also stay away from those survey people. If it sounds too good, it’s probably a scam of some sort.
Honest pay for honest work is dependable…not big money fast for almost no effort. Good luck.
Farrah Gray is a black male who started his own business and became a millionaire by age 13. Studies indicate most entrepreneurs seem to start their first business at around age 9, some as early as 5. My daughter began selling lemonade at 5 and is now thinking about selling her drawings (she’s now 7). I started my first business at around 8, buying and reselling candy and then buying and reselling model boats. Generally, you should always start by selling something you are already good at.
